Trump has now applauded himself at least twice tonight. Many words can be used to describe Trump; I’m not sure humble is one of them.

It’s like a football team that has a much better running game than passing game and decides to abandon its passing game entirely. Almost everything is a run up the middle, occasionally with a run off-tackle. They’re playing to their strengths in one respect, but they’re severely limiting their strategic flexibility down the line.
