With Ken Paxton’s win in the Texas attorney general primary over George P. Bush, many are heralding the end of the storied Bush dynasty in Texas. But real heads will note that in 2020, Pierce Bush (George H.W. Bush’s grandson and George W. and Jeb’s nephew) couldn’t even make it to the GOP runoff for TX-22, the same area that his grandfather represented decades ago.
