I think it’s interesting that, even with the mixed results, there are still politicians who think the Trump Seal of Approval (or even a hint of it) would give them a boost. Trump hasn’t offered any endorsements in the MN-01 special-election primary I’m watching, but Jennifer Carnahan (widow of the Republican congressman Jim Hagedorn, who previously held the seat) has used Trump’s image extensively in her materials. And that’s even in a district where Dems have won in the past.
