It’s also pretty ironic, to say the least, that it’s Trump protesters who are breaking into the Capitol building right now — after Trump spent much of the summer and fall campaigning against the alleged threat of left-wing protesters.

It’s a pretty clear indictment of law enforcement for letting it escalate to this point, since it was highly predictable that this could get violent.
