What Happened This Week In Washington — And Georgia

Huffington Post reporter Igor Bobic tweets that some of the protesters have now gained entry inside the building:

According to livestreams, both from protesters and news organizations, there is a sizable crowd pressed up right against the Capitol building, up the stairs and on the balcony, demanding entry, while others are scattered farther back.

The U.S. Senate just went into recess, possibly because of the risk of protesters storming the building. Not entirely clear what’s going on.
