Georgia is doing an efficient job tallying its votes so far. This is perhaps silly to mention given what actually happened, but Georgia was one of the states we thought would give us an early indication of the winner of the presidential race back in November. The problem was just that the state ended up being so close.

To follow up on Kendall’s post, Perdue has now pulled ahead of Ossoff, holding a 0.52-point lead with 68 percent of the expected vote in. Remember, as Geoffrey pointed out earlier, a lot of the vote in the Atlanta metro area still hasn’t been counted, but this race is tightening by the minute.
