Good points, Kaleigh! It’s worth noting, too, that Trump’s (debunked) claims of voter fraud could actually end up hurting the Republicans in the Georgia Senate races. Why bother to turn out and cast a ballot if you think the whole thing is rigged? It will be interesting to see the final turnout numbers and find out what they look like for Republicans in particular.

I think it’s important to acknowledge that when we dismiss claims of voter fraud out of hand, it can make people who have been exposed to misinformation feel like they’re being gaslit, or like something is being covered up. The fact is that people have seen a lot of so-called “evidence” from Trump and others, but every single piece of that “evidence” has been debunked.
