Tony, I’d think more people are watching the debates, and that’s why D.C. sucks.
The Nats couldn’t sell out a game earlier in the playoffs, so I’d bet on the debates.
Warren did acknowledge the difficulty of passing gun control legislation, and turned it into a plug for getting rid of the filibuster. It’s an idea that is getting a surprising amount of traction in the primary, in part because candidates keep getting questions about how they’ll get their ambitious agenda through the Senate, although it’s much easier said than done.
