OK, Sarah and Nate, you’ve talked me off that Buttigieg-Beto moment standing out, but I think Galen is actually right about why — no one cares about them enough.
Buttigieg is aggressively going after his fellow candidates tonight — first Warren, now O’Rourke. It will be really interesting to see how this plays with viewers afterward — if they’re turned off by his willingness to go negative, or if it ends up raising his profile.
Here’s one piece of gun policy most of the candidates agree on — re-upping federal funding for gun violence research, which has been mostly stalled out since the 1996 Dickey Amendment.
