According to a poll from Suffolk University/USA Today, 87 percent of Democrats support banning the sale of semi-automatic weapons like the AR-15 and AK-47. Thirty-six percent of Republicans and 55 percent of independents also support a ban.

I assume that even if O’Rourke does not collect all the weapons, he will surely get some of them.
