What Went Down In The Fourth Democratic Debate
I thought it was probably the worst sequence for Warren in any of the debates so far. But that’s not saying that much because she hasn’t had very many bad moments in any of the debates.
Wow, and I guess that’s it for the health care debate (at least at the moment). What did people think of Warren’s handling of the topic? Did she seem vulnerable? I kind of think she did and Buttigieg and Klobuchar were able to get her into tricky situations — how will she pay for it.
So far, the questions are mostly going to the top tier of candidates, despite the historically crowded stage. That may frustrate the other candidates, but it’s worth remembering that history says someone outside of the top three at this point in the race doesn’t have a great shot of winning. Our former colleague and current friend Harry Enten calculated that there’s only about a 15 percent chance that someone other than Biden, Warren or Sanders wins.
