What Went Down During The First Presidential Debate

Just want to get this on record in case you’re just reading our live blog and thinking otherwise for some reason: This has not been a normal debate. In fact, it’s been a straight-up mess so far, and it’s actually kind of jarring to watch.

I think Democrats are …. toeing a fairly careful line about encouraging people to listen to scientists but perhaps discouraging them to trust a vaccine that would come out of the Trump White House. I understand it as an electoral strategy, but it could reduce vaccine uptake.
