What Went Down During The First Presidential Debate
I’m surprised he didn’t answer that question more directly, Perry. He opposes court-packing (or at least he did before this!), so that seems like a simple answer. And I don’t think any rank-and-file voter cares about the filibuster.
So far the start of this debate has done neither candidate any favors, according to the response on Twitter. Sentiment has dipped from mostly positive to, at best, a split of positive and negative, and continues to slide.
Biden seems really ready on the COVID-19 point (though we’ll see what happens when the cross-talk starts). This seems like the biggest weak flank for Trump: the deaths, the fact he’s on tape saying he played it down.
