What Went Down On Night Two Of The First Democratic Debates

Buttigieg already fired one South Bend police chief, and it was the source of great controversy early in his mayoral tenure.

I thought Buttigieg’s answer was good, but I’m not quite sure what to think about how that answer might come across to a black voter, or for that matter to a working-class white voter.

Interestingly, there were no mentions of racism last night. Obviously that’s changing tonight.
