What Went Down On Night Two Of The First Democratic Debates
I thought Buttigieg’s answer was good, but I’m not quite sure what to think about how that answer might come across to a black voter, or for that matter to a working-class white voter.
Interestingly, there were no mentions of racism last night. Obviously that’s changing tonight.
I wonder how Buttigieg’s answer on the police-involved shooting plays with different audiences. He was castigated at a town hall by his black constituents. He’s struggling with black voters in polls. Does that answer change things?
