So the biggest policy news from these debates is that Warren and Harris, two of the more plausible nominees, have taken the Sanders’ position on winding down most private insurance and Medicare for all. Biden and Buttigieg are not doing that. Harris and Warren are embracing a position that will make it easier for their critics to cast them as unelectable.
