What Went Down On Night One Of The First Democratic Debates
A Morning Consult/Politico poll conducted in March found that 46 percent of both Democrats and Republicans agree that “technology companies have too much power and the federal government should step in to regulate more.” Twenty-seven percent of Democrats and 32 percent of Republicans disagree with the statement.
O’Rourke and Warren have both hit the idea that wealth is corrupting politics. There’s evidence they’re right. But as I wrote about earlier this year, solving it is unlikely to be easy.
Cory Booker mentioned the kind of judges he’ll appoint. Will be interesting to see if judicial appointments become a theme for Democrats, given how big of a focus they’ve been for the Republicans under Trump.
