Ahh, the Paris Accord. Look, the Paris Accord was a pretty amazingly vague document. We got to set our own standards/goals. China, for example, committed to leveling off its carbon emissions no later than 2030. India’s goal was to cut emissions intensity by 33 to 35 percent below 2005 levels and generate 40 percent of its electricity from non-fossil-fuel sources by 2030. This country’s goal was to cut overall greenhouse gas emissions by 26 to 28 percent below 2005 levels by 2025.
