Yang makes the pitch that he can be a strong president by looking out for the future threats, and making himself out to be a viable alternative is one of his goals tonight. He’ll need some more airtime to do it, though.

Yang praises Steyer for spending much of his fortune on climate change initiatives. This was the first time Yang spoke. I wish every candidate on stage was allowed talk in the first 30 minutes of the debate.
