So Warren and Sanders didn’t get attacked on Medicare for All for as long a time or as intensely as in past debates. I think that’s a bad sign for them — the other candidates don’t feel the need to bash them as much as before, since Warren has fallen in polls.

According to an October YouGov/Economist poll, 70 percent of Democrats say they “strongly” or “somewhat” support Medicare for All. However, only 50 percent say they “strongly” or “somewhat” support a national health plan provided by the federal government to all Americans that would eliminate private health insurance companies.
