What Went Down In The Fifth Democratic Debate

“Is President Obama wrong?” always feels like a gotcha question for a Democratic candidate because of how overwhelmingly popular Obama still is acorss all sections of the party.

Obama last weekend made vague comments that were widely interpreted as casting Warren and Sanders as too left and unelectable. So it’s interesting the moderators are asking Sanders about that.

Warren seems to be acknowledging here that Medicare for All is a pretty seismic change. She says she’ll give voters a couple years to get used to more gradual changes to the health care system before fully transitioning to Medicare for All.
