What Went Down In The Fifth Democratic Debate

Warren deftly pivots from impeachment (“boooring, we all agree!”) to the idea of banning insider-y perks for the rich; she brings up the fact that she wouldn’t let donor types be ambassadors.

Warren raising the issue that she wouldn’t make big campaign donors ambassadors, an idea that’s pegged off Sondland’s testimony. She has taken this stance before and she notes that other candidates have not.

It’s odd that Warren always goes to the Mueller report first whenever she’s asked about impeachment. It’s a roundabout way of criticizing the president — and criticizing the House/her fellow Democrats for not acting in the process.
