What Went Down In The Fifth Democratic Debate

It’s odd that Warren always goes to the Mueller report first whenever she’s asked about impeachment. It’s a roundabout way of criticizing the president — and criticizing the House/her fellow Democrats for not acting in the process.

As Maddow notes, half of the candidates on the stage tonight are potential jurors in a Senate impeachment trial. But that probably won’t change the way they talk about impeachment. One big difference between a courtroom trial and an impeachment trial: The jurors can’t be removed for bias!

Bingo, Nathaniel. This question isn’t going to tell us that much about the differences between the Democratic candidates seeing as they all favor the impeachment inquiry.
