What Went Down In The Fifth Democratic Debate

As Maddow notes, half of the candidates on the stage tonight are potential jurors in a Senate impeachment trial. But that probably won’t change the way they talk about impeachment. One big difference between a courtroom trial and an impeachment trial: The jurors can’t be removed for bias!

Bingo, Nathaniel. This question isn’t going to tell us that much about the differences between the Democratic candidates seeing as they all favor the impeachment inquiry.

According to analysis from The New York Times, impeachment has only been discussed for about 12 minutes across all the debates thus far. I think we will see that number more than double after tonight.
