What Went Down On Night 3 Of The DNC

Basically two things left tonight: Obama’s speech and Harris’s.

Notably, this Democratic primary had so many women running and for the first time, there was a primary focus on child care. Even pre-pandemic. That ain’t a coincidence.

One of the complications of Warren entering a Biden Cabinet is if the Senate is only narrowly in Democratic hands — which seems like a perfectly plausible scenario. If Warren resigned, there would be a special election fairly quickly, but in the meantime Republican Gov. Charlie Baker would appoint a replacement. Could complicate Senate voting math.
