What Went Down On Night 3 Of The DNC

As we hear about the deadly Camp Fire of two years ago, it’s wildfire season again in California. There are currently 367 fires raging across the state, and the state is consumed in a heat wave. Wonder if we’re going to hear anything about that tonight.

That is a really interesting question, Nate. I think I’ve become a lot more skeptical that the country has any true sense of the collective left. So I suppose that leaves me pessimistic for now.

According to a Pew poll from September 2019, 73 percent of Democrats say climate change is a major problem facing our country — just 17 percent of Republicans agreed. Given that this issue is important to so many Democrats, it’s unsurprising the climate is prominently featured on the 2020 party platform.
