This segment is such a reminder of how American gun violence is. So many of us have family members who’ve died in this very American way, and I’ve got to say, it’s a really resonant segment. Particularly the speech from the mother of a child who was shot in the head and survived, but whose life was so drastically altered.

Yeah, Perry. Every time Gifford talks about the importance of gun control given her own horrific experience, it’s always so powerful.
