Yeah, that jumped out to me too, Geoffrey. To also borrow from Obama — a younger Obama — Biden is also leaning into a message of “hope” and “light.” Biden is not dwelling on the negative in his nomination speech. He makes references to the current moment and hardships facing the U.S., but he’s packaging it in a message of hope.
