This narrative, which is well-done, makes me want to go back and see what they did to highlight Trump during his convention in 2016. So much of Biden’s story is wrapped in decency and tragedy. I don’t remember how they framed Trump, but it can’t be done with those things.

I just wonder… and how to put this delicately… but how the transition between the older historical footage will work with Biden taking the stage now. He’s not the world’s most gifted public speaker, so I’m curious how tonight’s speech will go.

Biden was 29 when he was elected to the Senate, and he turned 30 — the minimum age to serve in the Senate — between the election and the new Congress. This year, if he wins at 77, he’ll turn 78 before Inauguration Day.
