So … noticeably absent is Tulsi Gabbard, who was one of the last major candidates to drop out of the race and the only candidate who was awarded delegates but didn’t get to speak at the convention (she won two delegates in American Samoa!). Evidently her star has fallen from 2016, when she was tapped to introduce Sanders as a candidate, the role filled by Ocasio-Cortez this year. But a presidential primary can do that!
