What Went Down On The Final Night Of The DNC

Just as Obama used his eulogy for Lewis to call for the passage of a new Voting Rights Act, Bottoms is using this Lewis tribute to urge people to vote.

It looks like this is the night that the party embraces why Biden was chosen as the nominee. Voters saw him as “electable” or able to appeal to people who might think the Democratic Party has become too radical.

Democrats have made a few passing references to the late Rep. John Lewis this week, but I’ve been waiting for a fuller tribute. Here it is.
