What Went Down On The First Night Of The Democratic National Convention

I agree, Amelia. I’ve thought about this a little today, and even though Republicans Christine Todd Whitman, Meg Whitman, and Susan Molinari have been out of politics for a while, it’s an effective statement to have Republican women endorse Biden. Especially at a moment when Trump is tweeting about winning women voters.

It also stood out to me that the first three Republicans to speak were women. Obviously Kasich is the exception — but Trump could be facing even more eroding support among female voters, and this is a subtle reminder of that.
