What Went Down On The First Night Of The Democratic National Convention

As the resident Ohioan, I do have to say, I remain very curious how Ohio will go in November. Six months ago I would have said it would be a Trump state for sure, but I do think the pandemic and having Biden as the nominee make it a more interesting race there. So, Kasich, as the former governor, is an interesting figure. And he does love running for president! He was technically the last Republican (besides Trump) to drop out of the GOP race in 2016.

You might also remember Kasich from the many, many, photos of him standing on chairs at various campaign events.

You might remember John Kasich from such presidential campaigns as the 2000 and 2016 Republican primaries. He made his name as the biggest anti-Trump voice among many on the GOP side in 2015-16.
