What Went Down On The First Night Of The Democratic National Convention
The convention has opened with business owners struggling in the age of COVID-19, race relations and the killing of George Floyd, and now the victims of the coronavirus. The pandemic and race relations are the challenges that Trump gets rated terribly on and are among his biggest obstacles to winning reelection.
Many of Biden’s TV ads have been making the case that many of the people who died of COVID-19 under Trump didn’t have to. It’s an effective argument, IMO, and we’re getting a lot of it in this segment.
The DNC is really not holding back on the idea that there’s been a real human toll because of Trump’s presidency. And once again, people are just telling their stories straight into the camera, right into people’s living rooms.
