What Went Down On The First Night Of The Democratic National Convention

New York has fallen to fifth in COVID-19 cases per capita and will likely fall further soon, as a number of other states that have more cases currently are on the verge of overtaking it. It is still No. 2 in deaths per capita, however, behind New Jersey.

Cuomo is really taking Trump to task for his handling of the coronavirus. He’s making a persuasive case that many deaths could have been prevented if Trump had responded better.

As Cuomo speaks, I feel it’s pertinent to point out this investigation into New York’s abject failure of patients in public hospitals, who died at much higher rates than those at private ones and how the state didn’t properly use the medical professionals who came in from out of state to help.
