Agreed, Nathaniel! It’s hard to overstate Clyburn’s role in this year’s presidential nomination cycle. His endorsement of Biden right before the South Carolina primary was possibly the most influential of the whole process, and was quickly followed by at least 30 other high-profile endorsements. He also allegedly lobbied for Biden to name Harris as his running mate.
