Clare, MSNBC seems to be showing more of the raw convention footage, but they’re still cutting in sometimes.

I think Emily is right that pulling off something like this is just hard. But also it’s just odd to have two levels of “hosting” — Eva Longoria and the various TV hosts.

Yeah, Seth, but the audiences go a long way to making it feel more natural.

Some of this is in the uncanny valley of being made to seem as though it’s spontaneous, but almost none of it has actually been live, I don’t think?
