What Went Down On The First Night Of The Democratic National Convention

Some of this is in the uncanny valley of being made to seem as though it’s spontaneous, but almost none of it has actually been live, I don’t think?

I’m not sure I get the complaints that this feels like an infomercial. Major party conventions have largely been infomercials for half a century, just with live studio audiences.

I’m trying to be sympathetic to the challenges of producing something like this but so far, this all feels very disjointed. I feel like I’m getting whiplash.
