For what it’s worth, I found Obama’s comment morally off. He said: “Now women, I just want you to know; you are not perfect, but what I can say pretty indisputably is that you’re better than us [men].” I … don’t know if I believe that! And I think you could make the argument that it’s a bit condescending. It sort of feels like it falls into the category of male politicians saying the person they admire most is their wife, but then their wife has no power.
