What Went Down At The December Democratic Primary Debate
According to a November Marist poll, 83 percent of Democrats say they would be enthusiastic about voting for a woman, while 69 percent said the same about voting for a gay candidate. Sixty-two percent express enthusiasm about voting for a candidate under the age of 40, while 53 percent said the same about supporting a white, male candidate. Just 31 percent of Democrats say they would be enthusiastic about voting for someone over 70.
