Maybe I’ve paid more attention to this than most people, but: Over the past few weeks, as Sanders has ticked up in the polls, he has perhaps focused more on baseball than any other individual issue. Specifically, Sanders has taken a national leadership role in the fight against the elimination of 42 Minor League Baseball teams by what he calls the “corporate greed” of Major League Baseball. What does this have to do with presidential politics? Three of the teams Sanders is fighting to save are in Iowa.
