What Went Down At The Nevada Democratic Debate

It’s kind of odd that the Culinary Union came up considering that no voters outside Nevada are going to know what that union is — and most Nevadans have probably already voted early in the caucuses!

Some back story with the Culinary Union, for those who haven’t been following it — it’s the state’s largest labor union, and it’s been openly opposed to single-payer health care. But the union also stopped short of endorsing one of Sanders’s rivals and instead said that it would be endorsing “our goals.” So while that hasn’t been great for Sanders, it’s also not as damaging as it could have been.

It’s not a crazy suggestion at all, and he’s right that the attacks from Russia in 2016 were intended to sow discord just as much as anything else.
