So far, the Democratic debates this cycle have been honestly pretty boring, maybe other than Kamala Harris’s attack on Biden in the first debate. The ratings also haven’t gotten anywhere near the ratings of the first GOP debate in 2016, when Trump came onto the scene. The first 15 minutes of this debate have been much spicier than what we’ve seen so far, which is telling of the state of the race and also what happens when you add a New York billionaire to the equation.
