What Went Down At The Nevada Democratic Debate

I don’t completely get Sanders going so much on offense against Buttigieg here. He’s in a pretty strong position in Nevada, and that would ordinarily make you inclined to be more risk-averse — except maybe against Bloomberg, who is such a natural target for Sanders.

Yeah, but the rooms in these debates, I think we should remember, are weird and nonrepresentative and filled with supporters!

Yeah, Perry, that was smart by Buttigieg to group Bloomberg and Sanders. The issue here for a lot of candidates is that going after Bloomberg lets Sanders (the front-runner!) off the hook. Going after both together is a good solve for that.
