What Went Down At The Nevada Democratic Debate
Buttigieg positions himself — I think smartly — between Sanders and Bloomberg, casting them as non-Democrats and “polarizing.”
Buttigieg lays out explicitly the worst fear of some Democrats: that after Super Tuesday, the field will just be Sanders and Bloomberg. Obviously the implication is that people need to have a third option — but he didn’t make the case that it should be him.
Not a friendly crowd here for Bloomberg at the watch party — lots of enthusiastically clapping Warren’s and Klobuchar’s digs at Bloomberg.
