I was thinking the same thing, Clare. Maybe spending the night calmly deflecting the other candidates’ punches and talking about his electability/record is the best strategy. It certainly makes it seem like the other candidates see him as a threat.

Bloomberg is basically not responding to the criticisms over stop and frisk or his sexist comments. There is no real defense for them. So it seems smart to pivot and tout his record. I thought Bloomberg’s answer was quite good.
