What Went Down At The January Democratic Debate
None of the candidates, at least on stage, wanted to say the obvious: It’s not clear that Warren and her liberalism are similar to say, Klobuchar, or some of the women who won in swing districts in 2018. I will be curious if Warren’s opponents or surrogates take on this issue post-debate, particularly the male candidates’ female surrogates.
Well, that was a weird first 50 minutes. I don’t know that many voters are going to have their minds changed by the foreign policy segment. And I suppose Warren came out a little better than Sanders on their conflict, especially in making the affirmative case for her electability. But I’m not really sure about very much of this.
Alright, candidate correspondents! Time for an update. What do you make of your candidate’s performance — or the debate — thus far?
