What Went Down At The January Democratic Debate
According to a July poll from Ipsos for the Daily Beast, 74 percent of Democrats and independents say they are comfortable with a female president, but just 33 percent think their neighbors are comfortable with a female president.
I have a lot of respect for CNN devoting the first 40 minutes or so of this debate to foreign policy — one of the few policy areas that presidents can actually influence without Congress. But I fear it made viewers’ eyes glaze over.
Here come the moderators with the question of the day — can a woman win the presidential election? Sanders still denies having told Warren this.
