What Went Down At The January Democratic Debate

Klobuchar stepped in it a bit last week when she claimed that Iran had announced they were trying to develop a nuclear weapon — something they had not done. This time, she uses the more precise language — that Iran announced they would start enriching uranium again.

We’re not seeing a lot of Steyer so far — which is kind of understandable, given that questions about foreign policy experience are hard for someone with no political experience to answer. But one of his main jobs tonight is to just stand out and get voters’ attention, and that isn’t happening for him yet.

It seems like … everyone’s playing to their strengths here? I’m not sure that it’s easy to score debate points on foreign policy.
