What Went Down On Day Three Of The Democratic Convention

This portion of the speech actually reminds me why people like Joe Biden AND Donald Trump so much — they think these guys tell it like it is, that they’re not like other politicians.

Not particularly. He holds only a 48 percent favorable rating with all Americans, according to Gallup. That said, he isn’t disliked either, with a 36 percent unfavorable rating. He’s certainly better-liked than either Clinton or Trump. The latest poll I can find that breaks down Biden’s favorability by education level (a June Fox News poll) finds that Biden’s favorability rating is 9 percentage points lower among those without a college degree than those with one.

Harry, Biden is super popular with Democrats, right? But is he popular with the larger electorate? And does he really have that famous, Scranton-based blue-collar appeal?
